Hotel Rigel, Lido di Venezia

After exploring the hotel on a hot day, I found the walls to be quite thin making it a bit noisy. The room was too small for my liking, but I would recommend it for families. The staff was welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast had a mix of Italian and 'west' style options. The location was fabulous allowing easy access to the main town, the Lido beach, and the ferry port, just avoid the crowds around the attractions. Not staying in the heart of the city saved me €500.

The hotel is located in a brilliant central spot, close to major sights and just a short walk from the Grand Canal waterbus stop, offering a beautiful and safe setting. However, the rooms are very tiny and cramped, with poor-quality furnishings. The service was a mix of less helpful to very friendly and kind. The breakfast selection was excellent, but there were language barriers with staff. Overall, a good value for the prime location.

I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms were quaint with an old Italian charm, spacious, and very clean after a recent makeover. The service was exceptional, with a friendly and attentive staff who even noticed me working for hours. The location was perfect, allowing me to enjoy the peace of hearing birds sing while still being just a short vaporetto ride away from Piazza San Marco. The dining experience was satisfying, although the buffet service could be slightly slow. Overall, a delightful experience with great value for money.

I had a lovely stay at the hotel with a charming vintage-style room featuring a king-size bed, a great bathroom, and a small balcony overlooking the lagoon. While the view was a bit stressful compared to staying in Venice, the room was comfortable even though we booked the 'small double room. The location was ideal, close to everything in Lido, with only a few noisy disturbances but still offering the convenience of being near the beach and main attractions. Dining options were good, especially with gluten-free choices and proximity to stores and eateries. The facilities were well-maintained and convenient for a pleasant stay.
